Task 5: WebQuest Details

Today you should focus on defining the following items of your WebQuest:

the task (aim)
the final product (form and content)
the process - WHAT and HOW the students should do
- specify the sub-tasks
- suggest the order in which the sub-tasks should be fulfilled
- predict problems and questions which may arise and suggest answers/give advice

The final product shall be uploaded to your personal web; if it was published elsewhere, you will include active link.

Task 3: WebQuest - Topics Registration

After you make pairs and decide about the topic and focus of your planned webquest, list it below. As usually, each team must work on a different topic.
There is no age limit for your target group; you can work with students at any age and level, beginning at the lower secondary (age 13)

1. Ancient Egypt
2. second grade high school, age 16

3.to learn about the ways various people lived in the ancient Egypt - kings, priests, craftsmen, slaves (focus on housing, eating, working, praying, dying)

Task 2: Find materials, images, ideas for ITB

You will need pictures and drawings for your ITBM. First check what is available in the SMART and Activ galleries; then search the web.
Important!
1. Do not use high quality professional images. They are often monitored and stritly protected by the copyright.
2. Keep track of your sources - save the URLs of everything you take from the web, and present them in a page under the heading "References".

Sometimes the easiest way to get exactly the image you need is to shoot it yourself.

Below you can comment on the topic of resources. Add the URL if you find an inspiring, unprotected source.

Task 1: Choose your ITB topic

At first, you should choose the topic for your interactive board materials (ITBM), and list the keywords you want to teach. Into the comments to this blog entry, please include:

4. the list of 10-12 keywords.
